The Tudor Rose is an independently owned pub and restaurant located in between Chester, Ellesmere Port and the Wirral, formerly owned by Whitbread. We are open throughout the day, 7 days a week, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our menu centres around classic pub food with a sprinkling of dishes from around the world. We are family friendly, welcoming children of all ages

Are You Associated With Brewers Fayre / Premier Inn?
The Tudor Rose was formerly part of Brewers Fayre and Premier Inn, but was sold in November 2024 and is now independently owned
Do You Serve Breakfast?
We do indeed! Breakfast is available 6:30-10:30 weekdays and 7-11 weekends. We offer an unlimited style cooked-to-order breakfast which is £9.95 for adults and £4.95 for children aged under 12
What Time Do You Serve Food Until?
Our kitchen is open every day from 12noon until 9pm
What Time Is The Bar Open?
Our bar and lounge is open 11:30am until 10:30pm
In the daytime, you may need to go through to the restaurant to place your order
Do You Charge For Parking?
Our car park is free of charge, all we ask is that anybody using our car park makes a purchase of some form from us
Do You Allow Dogs?
Well-behaved dogs are allowed in our outdoor areas and in our bar & lounge. Assistance and guide dogs are allowed anywhere in the building
Do You Allow Children?
Children are more than welcome and can sit in both the restaurant the bar. We have highchairs available, colouring-in sheets and a games corner in our bar. We ask that if you are booking a table that requires a highchair or space for a pram that you let us know in the booking notes so we can allocated a table with enough space for you
Do You Have Disabled Access?
Due to the age of our building we have a limited number of tables without stepped access. If you require a table without stepped access we advise you to include a note on your booking so we can allocate a table accordingly for you
Meet The Team
Ryan - General Manager
Ryan has recently taken over as our general manager and has now been part of the team for over 17 years! He does everything from running front of house to creating our menus and designing our website. In his spare time he loves going to concerts and is a keen rum drinker!
Jack - Hotel Manager
Jack is the newest member of our management team having recently joined us during our change of ownership, brining with him his extensive knowledge of the hotel industry
Hannah - Team Leader / Events Co-Ordinator
Hannah has now been with us for just over a year. Starting out doing a couple of evenings a week, she has now become a great addition to our management team, brining the experience she's learned from having her own bar over in Spain
Lol - Duty Manager
Lol has now been with us for around 8 years and is our breakfast duty manager. She is well known to our regulars and is really great at looking after all our guests
Jay - Kitchen Manager
Jay is our Kitchen Manager and has been at the Tudor for over 25 years and has seen a lot of changes during his time. These days he's focused on keeping our kitchen running and ensuring our food goes out looking great!
Lewis - Head Chef
Lewis has worked in many kitchens over the years and has now settled down at the Tudor, now becoming our Head Chef and always coming up with great ideas to improve our food!
